Beach Water Quality Test Results

This dataset provides water quality results from tests conducted weekly at fixed locations by the Department of Public Health during the swimming season (May-September). 10 ml samples of beach water are diluted with 90 ml of deionized water for a total sample volume of 100 ml. The samples are then tested for enterococci bacteria and if levels exceed 104 colony forming units (cfu)/ 100 ml of water, a swimming advisory is issued. If a swimming advisory is issued, the site is tested daily until bacteria levels are below the 10 cfu threshold.
